#WaterlowWisdom

We are delighted that Daisy Lowe is supporting our Waterlow Hall project.

From an early age Daisy was fascinated by fashion and had already been signed with a London modelling agency by the time she was 15. She continued to study at South Hampstead in spite of her increasingly glamorous career, and credits her education with giving her a passion for music and drama which has continued to this day.

Daisy has starred in major campaigns for designers including; Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, been shot by some of the most notable names in fashion such as; Steven Meisel, Steven Klein and Terry Richardson to name a few. Editorially, Daisy’s career has spanned internationally appearing in British Vogue, Italian Vogue, Dazed, i-D and the infamous Pirelli calendar. Over the years, Daisy has pushed the boundaries of what it means to be a woman in fashion and has defied the “one size fits all” model with a commitment to body positivity and a healthy lifestyle.

In 2016 she lit up our screens as a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing where her good humour and evident talent took her to the 8th week.

‘Music and art are my passions and fashion has always fascinated me. I am so lucky to work in an area where there is so much that links all three. South Hampstead was the foundation of those passions. I think the new Waterlow Hall will be a fabulous addition to the school and a real opportunity to build and showcase the pupils’ abilities in all these areas.’
